“Yalta Conference” (2021) is a political painting by Denis Lopatin that reinterprets the historic meeting of Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin through sharp satire and symbolic inversion.
By placing the leaders in a moment of vulnerability—raising their feet while a cleaner washes the floor—the artist dismantles the monumental image of power and exposes the fragility and absurdity behind political authority. The work reflects Lopatin’s signature approach to political art, combining historical reference, irony, and classical painterly execution.
