About the Exhibition
INTERPLAY ’27 is an international group exhibition of contemporary art bringing together selected artists from different countries, cultures and artistic backgrounds in the heart of Barcelona.
The exhibition explores the idea of interplay — the dialogue between individual artistic practices, visual languages, cultures and perspectives. Painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media come together within the gallery space, creating connections between different approaches to contemporary art.
Presented by BUAT Gallery in Barcelona, INTERPLAY ’27 is conceived as both a curated contemporary art exhibition and an exhibition-sale, offering visitors and collectors the opportunity to discover and acquire original works by emerging and established international artists.
The project continues BUAT Gallery’s programme of international contemporary art exhibitions and its commitment to creating a professional meeting point between artists, collectors, curators and art professionals.

INTERPLAY ’27 will open with a special evening at BUAT Gallery, welcoming participating artists, collectors, curators, art professionals and invited guests.
The Opening Night will provide an opportunity to discover the exhibition, meet participating artists and experience the works within an international contemporary art setting.

For Artists
BUAT Gallery is currently accepting applications from artists interested in participating in INTERPLAY ’27.
Applications are reviewed by the gallery’s curatorial team. Selection is based on the artistic quality of the submitted work, its professional presentation and its relevance to the curatorial context of the exhibition.
Artists working in painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media are invited to submit their work for consideration.

If selected, participation in the exhibition involves a participation fee. Full conditions are provided after curatorial review.

INTERPLAY ’27 offers collectors the opportunity to discover original contemporary art in Barcelona within a professionally curated gallery environment.
Selected artworks presented in the exhibition will be available for acquisition through BUAT Gallery.
The gallery can provide additional information regarding individual artworks, prices, artist biographies, certificates, payment and international shipping upon request.
