Denis Lopatin (born 1977, Minsk) is a contemporary artist, painter, and caricaturist currently living and working in France. Trained at the Belarusian State University of Culture, Lopatin developed a distinctive visual language that merges classical painting techniques with sharp political satire and cultural critique.

His work operates at the intersection of painting, caricature, and narrative symbolism. While often perceived as humorous at first glance, Lopatin’s paintings unfold multiple layers of meaning, revealing complex psychological, political, and historical references. Lopatin has created more than 1,500 published caricatures and over 250 comic works.
